Wollaton Park's Great British Spring Clean-Up

Wednesday 17 Apr - Wed 17 Apr

Keep Britain Tidy are calling on #LitterHeroes across the country to help improve the environment on their doorstep. They’re aiming to inspire 500,000 people to join forces - in partnership with community organisations, businesses and the government - to collect and safely dispose of single-use plastic from our streets, parks and beaches, recycling as much as possible.

So join us, as we prepare to stand together and declare that single-use plastic litter – which degrades the beauty of our environment and threatens to harm wildlife – is not acceptable.

Visit Wollaton Park on Wednesday 17th April to be a Litter Hero around the lake and conservation areas. Our Real World Science Officer will be testing what we find to see exactly what is being left behind on the park, and how plastic has an effect on our resident herds of deer.

Meet at the lake from 11am – 3pm. Please wear sensible outdoor clothing and footwear. Normal car parking charges apply.

Follow the booking link to let us know you will joining us.
